This directory contains scans of my laboratory record book from 1993-08-09.
In this book, I documented the invention of a training algorithm for the
Frustrated Synapse learning rule, now known as spike-timing dependent
synaptic plasticity (STDP).
The book has the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) insignia on it but
I was not a student at USAFA when I wrote this. At the time of my invention
of the Frustrated Synapse learning rule and training algorithm, I was a
Lieutenant at Edwards Air Force Base. I was preparing to attend graduate
school to study neural networks at Caltech later in the Fall.
