It's time for another Kids Clinic at Lowe's (1253 E. Trinity
Mills); this
time the CECPTA dads (and moms) and children will have everything all to
themselves. Normally for a Kids Clinic at Lowe's everyone in the area comes
and they all spend about 20 minutes on their project and leave. The kids
make something fun, get an apron to wear and take home, along with their
finished project, a badge or patch for their project, and sometimes even
goggles.
We have set up a private class on Saturday, February 16th at 10:00am. in
which we will not only get all those things, but the kids will be able to
stay and paint their projects too. We will bring a snack and drinks so that
after working hard everyone can eat and wait for the paint to dry (wet paint
can be a bit of a nuisance on the car upholstery). This not only gives them
more time to create, it gives mom, if she stays home, more time alone (yay!)
The cost is $4.00 per kit and the kids will be making a tic-tac-toe set. The
coordinator has already been warned to have as many colors of paint on hand
possible, since this should be very colorful (and pre-schoolers don't seem
limited by the norm).
